Getting started
How do I set up Stellina?
Create an account, add your child’s first name and birth month, choose the language and read a short text aloud. Stellina then builds your child’s universe in your voice.
Where should my phone be while my child sleeps?
Outside the cot or bed, at a safe distance and at a low, comfortable volume. Keep devices and cables out of reach, and always follow safe-sleep guidance for your child’s age. Stellina is not a monitor.
Does Stellina work without a connection?
Yes. With Premium, the audio that has been created is saved on your iPhone and plays offline.
Your voice
How do I make a good recording?
Find a quiet room, hold the phone as you normally would and read calmly and naturally, the way you speak at bedtime. You can record again if you are not happy with it.
Can the other parent record too?
Yes. Invite the other parent, a relative or a caregiver to your household. They create their own account, give their own consent and record their own voice. A second parent’s voice is included in Premium.
How do I remove my voice?
Withdraw your consent in Stellina under Privacy & Security. We then delete your recording and any voice model.
Subscription and billing
How does the free trial work?
New subscribers get seven free nights, once per Apple ID. If you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you pay nothing.
How do I cancel?
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Payments and refunds are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I have paid, but Premium is not showing.
Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you paid with, then use Restore Purchases in Stellina. If it still does not work, write to us below.
Account and data
How do I delete my account?
In Stellina, go to Privacy & Security. Your account and everything in it is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. Remember to cancel your subscription with Apple as well.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in the EU, under GDPR. Stellina AS in Oslo, Norway, is responsible for your data.
